Whole Health Psychology

Are you feeling “holistically depleted”?

More specifically – Are you:

  • Experiencing feelings of anxiety (or just a sense of being “stressed out”)?
  • Wishing you had a healthier relationship with food?
  • Hoping to someday break the yo-yo diet schedule and maintain a healthy weight?
  • Wanting to commit to (and stick with) a beneficial exercise program?
  • Feeling that in spite of all your accomplishments, there is something missing?
  • Wishing you had more time in quiet, to feel restored and connected with your spirit?
  • Longing overall for a more holistic, balanced lifestyle?

Yes?

2.  Seminars to teach mindful eating and strategies to create a healthy relationship with food, leading to sustainable weight loss and weight management.  End the Yo-Yo Dieting forever!  Visit the page “Am I Hungry?”by clicking here.

3.   Coaching services (both for individuals seeking a coach approach to their well-being and also mentoring for new coaches just getting started).  Visit the coaching page and mentorcoaching page for more information.

To get started, please contact me to schedule a no-charge telephone consult.  We’ll chat for about 20 minutes and I’ll address your questions about working with me.

Here are some examples of typical changes that occur in my clients:

  • Moving beyond the hype of fad diets and having a pleasurable, intuitive and healthy relationship with food.
  • Feeling at home, strong and healthy within your body.
  • Increased energy, confidence and vibrancy that wellness brings.
  • A sense of savoring daily life with mindful awareness.
  • Finding new ways of enjoying leisure time and exercise.
  • Developing a new connection to your “inner world”, your spirit and intuition.
  • Finding that taking care of yourself means you also have much more to give to others you love, as well as activities that excite you.
  • Emotional Wellness (no longer having thoughts and feelings that are self-defeating).

“I engaged Lori’s services to help me get back on track with wellness practices that I had let fall by the wayside with all my work obligations, especially exercise. I was immediately at ease with Lori’s style  – she helped me take my time and was thorough in getting to know both me as well as my needs, without making me feel like I was “put on the spot”. The work we did together always felt collaborative to me – from setting goals to measuring my weekly progress. I found her to be intuitive to my mood, whatever that may be and to be equally inspiring in encouraging me back on track or celebrating with me. One of the things I appreciated most about Lori was that I felt a strong sense of trustworthiness from her. She shared expertise when needed and I always knew she would follow through on anything she promised. I found my follow-through with my goals dramatically improving as a result of her coaching. I would highly recommend Lori to anyone in need of coaching help.”

Wooded Path

“One of the most valuable “gems” I received from Lori was a thorough explanation of the stages of change that everyone goes through and what made change so challenging for me. I was stuck and not sure about making change; Lori helped me realize that until I was willing to make a commitment both mentally and emotionally, I would only continue to feel frustrated and berate myself. I highly recommend Dr. Lori Gray Boothroyd as a coach!”
